Every card carries one deck name on the front and one question on the back — nothing else competing for attention. The point isn't the card. It's the conversation it opens.
The Ritual
How the evening unfolds.
Put phones away. Pour something to sip. Light a candle. Sit facing each other, decks in the centre, Journal and Tokens close by.
Truth
Each of you draws three cards and answers fully. No interrupting, no correcting, no defending — only listening.
Desire
Three cards each. "What makes you feel desired?" "When do you feel closest to me?" If an answer feels important, mark it with a token.
Play
Five cards — dance together, take a selfie, recreate your first hug. Light, fast, fun.
Dreams
Three cards each — what adventure should you take next year, what tradition should you create, what does forever look like?
Dare
Five cards, completed together — a sixty-second appreciation speech, your favourite memory, something you've never said aloud.
Deeper — the game's secret weapon
Everything else stops.
At any point, either of you may draw a Deeper card. When you do, no more cards — just this conversation. "What part of yourself are you still protecting?" "What kind of love are we building?"
Connection Tokens
Whenever something meaningful is shared, a token is placed beside that card. Three tokens on one card means that conversation mattered.
End of the Evening
Spread every tokened card on the table and ask one question together: which conversation changed the night?
The Forever Journal
Close the night in writing.
"You need more reassurance than I realised."
"You make difficult days easier."
"More quality time."
"One intentional date monthly."
The final ritual: hold hands, look at one another, and complete the sentence — "Tonight reminded me that…" Partner A answers. Partner B answers. The evening ends — until next time.

Is this just another conversation card game?
No. Before Forever™ is structured as a guided evening with timed rounds, a host booklet, and a closing ritual — built to feel like an experience, not a deck of prompts you flip through once and forget.
How long does one evening take?
Roughly seventy-five minutes for the five core rounds, plus however long the Deeper deck pulls you in — and time afterward for the Forever Journal and final ritual.
Do we have to drink alcohol?
Not at all. The Experience Guide simply suggests pouring something to sip — wine, tea, coffee, or a mocktail all work.
What if a Deeper card brings up something hard?
That's the point of the deck — it's designed for real breakthroughs, not just fun. The Guide encourages slowing down, listening fully, and picking the evening back up only when you're both ready.
Can we play it more than once?
